Why do i get error "Remote Desktop Disconnected" when i try to connect the Win2K machine using VPN? |

If you want your laptop/PC to be able to get into the WIN2K machine via remote desktop connection, but then you get an error message with a title bar of
"Remote desktop Disconnected"
"The client could not connect to the remote computer. Remote connections might not be enabled or the computer might be too busy to accept new connections. It is also possible that network problems are preventing your connection. Please try connecting again later. If the problem continues to occur, contact your administrator".
1. Check you are not already using all the terminal server licences (it should work if you have probably a 2000 or XP laptop).
2. The Win2K should be 192.168.xxx.xxx
3. Assuming that was a typo, check your laptop/PC IP.
4. Check your personal firewall on your laptop/PC is open to port 3389 |
